On Saturday, March 26, 2022 students in Wagler Education's 10-week EMT certification class got hands-on training in handling vehicle collision trauma and patient extrication when the members of the Switz City Fire Department joined them on the track, where a three-vehicle collision simulation was staged. After cutting a victim from a vehicle, bracing another vehicle that had flipped in the crash and preparing the patient for transport, the students learned to load patients into an Air Evac helicopter.
