The Greene County Humane Society held its first Easter egg hunt at the shelter on Saturday, calling it the "K9 EGGstravaganza." From 5 to 6 p.m. it was the doggie's turn, walking with their humans along the Waggin' Tails Trail in search of (doggie) treat-filled eggs. The human's turn to search was from 7 to 8 p.m.. Toddlers and small children looked for (human) treat-filled eggs in a roped-off area adjacent to the shelter, while bigger kids took to the trail to hunt for their treats.
