The 20th Annual Joe and Jan Edwards Show took the stage Monday at the Bloomfield Town Park -- providing more than three hours of country and southern gospel music to several hundreds onlookers.

Former Grand Old Opry performer Joe Edwards (right) and his wife, Jan (center) were presented with an appreciation plaque Sunday by Bloomfield Town Council President Aaron Hamm thanking the couple for coming to Bloomfield for the last 20 years to headline a free Labor Day show.

Bloomfield resident Marcus "Red" Oliphant fires up the crowd. Monday's show marked the end of Oliphant's 20-year tenure as emcee and promoter for the Joe and Jan Edwards Labor Day Show in Bloomfield. He's retiring from the volunteer role. The Edwards' will continue the show next year on Labor Day at Shawnee Theatre in Bloomfield.
