Students at Linton-Stockton performed the classic musical "Little Women" on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoon. The classic tale is set during the Civil War and deals with poverty versus wealth, independence, family love, and sibling rivalry. "This year's cast includes students from fourth to 12th grades," Musical Director Samantha Writtenhouse Writtenhouse said. Erinn Swaby played the part of Jo March -- the independent, young woman who wants to become a famous writer. Senior Joel Young played Laurie Lawrence -- the rich young man who falls in love with Jo, but is hit hard with disappointment. Other main characters included Makayla Fulton has Meg March; Bailey Hasler as Beth March; Morgan Cox as Amy March; Shanae Spinks as Marmee March; Alex Wilson as Mr. Lawerence and Professor Bhear; Allie Foglesong and Aunt March; Stacie Rock as Mrs. Kirk; and Michael Hancock as Mr. Brooke.
