Shakamak Graduation Ceremony May 28 2016

MSD of Shakamak held a commencement ceremony on Saturday, graduating 47 seniors. The pledge of allegiance was led by Seth Wise, class vice-president and national honor society member, followed by a welcome given by class president Emmalee Mahan. Superintendent Mike Mogan gave his remarks to the graduating class, whose motto reads "In our hands we hold today, in our dreams we hold tomorrow, in our hearts we hold forever." Salutatorian Clay Reynolds, national honor society member and recipient of an academic awards diploma, next addressed the packed gymnasium. The class valedictorian Ariel Stephenson, also a national honor society member and academic awards diploma recipient, next gave her address to her fellow graduates. The Shakamak High School concert band gave its rendition of "Disney Blockbusters," followed by the presentation of diplomas by Superintendent Mogan and high School Principal Dennis Moody.
