Worthington resident complains about trash

WORTHINGTON ---- A complaint that trash blows into a resident's yard, reportedly food wrappers and other papers discarded by employees of the Worthington Assembly Co., was heard by the Worthington Town Council on Tuesday night. Worthington resident Gary Arthur, a truck driver and day-sleeper who lives just east of the plant, showed the council a small plastic bag containing paper he said he had picked up in yard, alleging the debris apparently blew into his yard from the plant's parking lot where the employees often eat lunch.. ...

DAILY CITIZEN STAFF WRITER The former Noble Romans restaurant on State Road 54 East in Linton, closed since September 1999, has been purchased by a southern Indiana man. It will soon re-open as a restaurant with a 1950s theme. John Pierce, who has owned The Snack Shack in Washington, since 1999, said he closed the deal on the former Noble Romans on Friday.
