Community makes Christmas special for Linton family

A Linton family had a special Christmas this year, complete with Santa, a horse-drawn wagon, and a truck load of gifts for their five children. Company, owner file for bankruptcy

A former local company and its owner has filed bankruptcy in the Indiana Southern District of the United States Bankruptcy Court. Jack Wheeler Ford, Inc. and John Kennyth Wheeler filed with the court on Dec. 12. Both are Chapter 7, which means the debtor turns over all non-exempt property to the bankruptcy trustee, who then converts it to cash for distribution to the creditors. Serino receives 385 years in prison
