Program to help youth stop smoking

Greene County Commissioners on Tuesday passed an ordinance supporting Greene County General Hospital's Home Health Care in its efforts to stop tobacco use among Greene Countians. Especially its youth. The ordinance establishes a fine for underage tobacco use. The fine is $117, but if it is the offender's first violation, he or she will have the option of paying a $25 fee and attending behavior-modification sessions at the hospital...

A Jasonville man is listed in good condition this morning in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after he was involved in a one-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Wilfred in Sullivan County.
