Fire destroys home late Monday night in Linton

The cause of a fire that destroyed a home on Linton's southeast side Monday night has not yet been determined by the State Fire Marshall's office. According to Linton Fire Chief Wendell "Sparky" Sparks, the home of Terry Montgomery at 389 SE 7th St. was destroyed by the blaze.
