An elderly Sandborn woman was rescued Thursday afternoon after her car was swept off a flooded, icy gravel road south of Linton. Janet C. Sanders, 82, was helped out of her stranded car by rescue workers from the Linton Fire Department, and taken by ambulance to Greene County General Hospital. Linton's baseball and softball teams will be hosting a basket bingo on Monday, February 16 at the Linton Elks Lodge. The doors will open at 5:45pm. and bingo will start at 6:30pm.
