Linton Police are investigating an alleged attempted abduction case that involves a 9-year-old girl. The incident occurred Friday about 6:30 p.m. The girl's mother reported to police that her daughter was playing in the backyard of her Mobile Manor residence when a man came up from behind her and told her to turn around.
