The Linton Police Department gave away 15 car seats Thursday to parents who stopped by a child safety restraint training class held in the Goody's parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Child safety seat technicians were on hand at the workshop to inspect existing car seats if participants had one, distribute size-appropriate new ones when needed, show parents how and where their child's safety restraint should fit in the vehicle seat, and make sure the child fit properly in the seat. ...
