Switz City Town Council discusses water issues

SWITZ CITY ---- Don Blanton, president of Switz City Town Council, announced at the Tuesday evening meeting that he has reason to believe that someone is stealing water from fire hydrants. "If they get caught, I will do everything I can to have them prosecuted," Blanton said. "That is theft. I want people to know that fire hydrants aren't for anybody to mess with but the water department and firemen. They're not for people's conveniences."...

Greene County Recycling Center Supervisor Debbie Haseman reported to the Greene County Solid Waste Management District board on Tuesday that traffic is up at the center, and mobile recycling in Lyons was successful.
