Two Greene County Commissioners -- Bart Beard and Larry Hasler -- have issued a clarifying statement in response to published reports about the impact the additional Greene County courthouse financing will have on future property tax bills. Responding to questions posed by The Daily World about the validity of the published report, Board of Commissioners President Bart Beard, who is the official spokesman for the commissioners on the building project, said the news story in an area publication "contained statements that do not accurately reflect the impact" the additional $4 million in courthouse funding approved in recent weeks by the commissioners and the county council will have.. ...
