Technology can help spread the Gospel
(Column ~ 07/16/07)
I remember when I was a kid and my dad had just bought an Atari for my brother and I for Christmas. We were mesmerized by the fantastic graphics of the game Pong. It consisted of two one inch lines and a dot that went back and forth. My brother and I played that game for hours. That game was definitely humble beginnings compared to what video games are like today. The technological advances have been amazing to say the least...

Tolerence needs visited often
(Column ~ 07/16/07)
It's time for yet another rant from staff writer No. 3. Tolerance is a favorite topic of mine. I like to revisit it often due to the inability to inoculate the close-minded "Greene County" disease of prejudice, hate and bigotry. This is for the ones who spread intolerance like butter on bread as they cover every corner leaving an aftertaste of hate for all things different...

Many lessons to be learned from daytime television
(Column ~ 07/16/07)
OK, sometimes I do watch TV in the daytime but not often. Lately we have watched the winding down of Bob Barker on Price Is Right and sometimes the Family Feud. I have learned that insurance companies are evil and will not pay until they are sued.
