As a senior on the cross country team I have been through a ton of practices and meets. Cross country isn't always about running although it may seem that way. I have seen my share of Steak-n-Shake jalapeno eating "initiations " for new runners and freshmen as well as shared in mud puddle fights after a nice hard rain. For runners I believe it is those times of fun with friends and enjoying the company of your team mates that we as runners look forward to the most...

To the Editor: I remember ... I was born and raised in Bloomfield, but now I live far away in the state of Maine with my wife and children. Last Tuesday, my grandmother, Alberta Neidigh, passed away. I was unable to attend the funeral, and was thinking about how I could pay my respects to this wonderful woman.
