No serious injuries resulted from a Thursday afternoon accident involving a semi trailer and van which occurred at the intersections of State Roads 54 and 59 in downtown Linton. According to the Linton Police Department report, Stacey J. Thomas, 34, of Clinton, was traveling north on Main Street (State Road 59) in a 2007 Federal Express semi trailer when he attempted to make a right turn onto State Road 54 at the same time that Marlene Malone, 76, of Bloomfield, was traveling north on Main Street in a 1995 Mercury Villager and also attempted to turn right onto State Road 54.. ...
