And that's perhaps why both coaches were surprised to see 6'3" junior guard Gavin Thompson take a three pointer with 1:13 to play in the game from approximately two feet behind the three point line to erase a 38-37 Clay City lead and give the Cardinals the advantage for good en route to a 46-38 win to stay perfect on the season in boys high school basketball action in Clay City Friday night.. ...
