The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce's Meet and Greet event, scheduled for tonight, has been postponed. It will be sometime next week, according to Chamber President Cynthia Ferguson. Ferguson said the food for tonight's event will be donated to the fire station for those working to clean up Bloomfield after Tuesday night's storm...

The doors of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield were opened for anyone in the Bloomfield area needing shelter after Tuesday night storms raged through the area. National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado

The National Weather Service (NWS) has officially confirmed that an EF-1 tornado occurred in Bloomfield on Tuesday night. The initial report from the NWS was that the path of the tornado was about four miles long and 50 yards wide. The Indiana Court of Appeals has handed down a decision reversing a motion granted in Greene Superior Court to suppress hospital blood test results as evidence in the case of Ali Eichhorst.
