INDIANAPOLIS -- Jacob Lindley and Scott Gowin served as pages for me in the General Assembly last Tuesday. Jacob is the son of Mark and Theresa Lindley, and Scott is the son of Lee and Eileen Gowin. The Greene County Council agreed Monday afternoon to loan the White River Levee Commission $1,431.57 to make up for a budget shortfall created when residents of the levee district were charged too much on their 2005-06 tax bills.
