Mom was already in the writing business when they came into the world. By age 2 they were regulars on my computer and by age 5 they knew more about newspapering than the average person knows at 50. Something similar happens in lots of families. Farm kids become experts at farming. Kids with parents who run shops or stores seem to have a natural talent for making change and treating customers like kings. Coach's kids know all the rules of the game...
