BLOOMFIELD -- Veteran Bloomfield boys golf coach Monte McIntosh is hoping to turn his program into what a rival school already has, a tradition based program. "I want to get a tradition started here, like Linton has. It does so much for your program to have a tradition," McIntosh said. Two men -- one from Linton and the other from Sandborn -- were arrested Friday afternoon near Switz City. The Greene County Sheriff's Department received a call from a male subject at approximately 1:50 p.m. who advised that he had been to his brother-in-law's building and caught someone stealing items...

After Linton Police Department officers went to a residence late Thursday to serve a warrant on a man whose probation was being revoked, what they found led to another arrest connected with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Mallory Lynn Ferree, 21, Sullivan, was booked into the Greene County Jail at 3:26 a.m. ...

Praise should always be given when it's due. Recently we had our home appraised. The appraiser was horrified by the number of mistakes she found during her search at the courthouse. Makes one wonder how we ever got our title insurance or financing. The platt book illustrations, updated after we sold off part of our lot, were really messed up...
