Bloomfield seniors looking forward to future

The excitement was high in the Glover Gymnasium on Saturday as the Bloomfield graduates marched out and sat together for one last time as the Class of 2008. Principal Greg Parsley began the ceremony by expression his appreciation to the faculty and staff who "get the job done each and every day". Junior Cody Pearson tossed a three-hitter and the Cardinal defense was almost flawless behind him as Bloomfield defeated North Knox 8-2 in the opening game of the Class 2A Linton-Stockton Sectional at Roy Herndon Field Monday afternoon.
