Graves and Smith take home top ribbons in 4-H Dog Show

The Annual 4-H Dog Show was conduced Saturday at the Greene County Fairgrounds with Kyla Graves and Rachel Smith taking home the two top awards. Kenneth A. Mejean, 48, of Sullivan, passed away 11:15 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan. He was born in Gary on April 2, 1960 to David Mejean and Iola Sietz Mejean. He was an Air Force veteran. UPDATED: State Police investigating Jasonville shooting

Jasonville -- Indiana State Police continue to investigate an early Sunday morning shooting in Jasonville that has resulted in a Bloomington man being transported to an Indianapolis for a gunshot wound. At approximately 4:49 a.m., the Indiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division at the Bloomington Post responded to a call for assistance from the Greene County Sheriff's Department to the shooting at 410 East Locust Street, according to ISP Public Information Officer Sgt. Curt Durnill from the Bloomington Post.
