I'm looking forward to a three-day weekend. Here in the newsroom, we're taking Monday off and there won't be a paper on Tuesday because we would all have to work on Monday in order for that paper to come out on Tuesday. Readers will miss it, but remember, we need a break too...

UPDATED BREAKING NEWS: Dugger man drowns in Greene-Sullivan State Forest lake (Local News ~ 08/29/08)
DUGGER -- A Sullivan County man drowned at Narrow Lake in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest on Friday evening. The victim was identified as Chad Talley, 33, of Dugger. Law enforcement officials were dispatched to the scene at 7:36 p.m. Friday. The lake is located just off of State Road 159 -- just south of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) property office near Dugger.
