The multi-million dollar Greene County Courthouse civil lawsuit will be going to a jury trial in June 2009. Recent mediation sessions failed to result in an out-of-court settlement, Attorney Marilyn Hartman told members of the Greene County Building Corporation on Wednesday morning. The case will be heard in Owen Circuit Court, located in Spencer, starting at 9 a.m. on June 8 , 2009. Three weeks has been allocated on the court's calendar for the trial that will be heard by Judge Frank M. Nardi.

UPDATED: Road rage leads to gun fire

An incident of road rage in Greene County on Wednesday afternoon could have turned deadly, but it didn't. At least one shot was reported to have been fired from one vehicle hitting another vehicle, but Greene County Sheriff's Department deputies were able to intercept the two vehicles involved and stop the incident from escalating.
