Lester G. Ball, 83, of Linton, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 at Greene County General Hospital. He was born on Oct. 21, 1925 in Greene County to Daniel and Pearl (Copeland) Ball. He married Marjorie Ashcraft on Aug. 4, 1946. Lester served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After serving in the military he was a tool and die inspector for Crane. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a Deacon for 50 years... -
