Smith leaving Bloomfield Police Department

A Bloomfield Town Deputy will soon join the ranks of the Greene County Sheriff's Department. Bloomfield Deputy Shane Smith's last day with the BPD is Sunday and he will be missed. Bloomfield Town Marshal Ken Tharp explained, "The sheriff department got a good guy (Smith). But we'll still be working with him because we work closely with the sheriff's department. ...
