Community loses a friend, public servant

The Greene County community lost a familiar face, and voice, when J W "Pee Wee" Johnson passed away at his home in Worthington early Friday morning. Affectionately known as "Pee Wee," Johnson faithfully took up an almost daily post at the southeast corner of the Linton Park for many years where he sold fresh fruits and vegetables. His pick-up truck, piled with whatever produce was in season, was a familiar sight to drivers passing by the park and many regular customers stopped to shop and chat.
