Deadline to register this week This week is the last week to register for fall classes at the Greene County Community Learning Center. Classes begin August 24th and classes with low enrollments will be canceled on August 17th. This fall Vincennes University is offering English Comp I and II, Fundamentals of Writing, Beginning and Intermediate Algebra, Principals of Sociology, and 5 week classes in Intro to Computers, Intro to Internet and Intro to PowerPoint. Ivy Tech will be starting a certificate program which offers Microsoft Certification in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, another certificate in Payroll Accounting will also be starting. All classes needed to complete the certificate are offered locally. Contact the Learning Center at 659-3862 for more information.
