Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to three separate car/deer accidents on Thursday morning alone. One was located in the Linton area, another one was near State Road 48 and Lone Tree Road and yet another one was located near the baseball diamonds north of Bloomfield. Pam Curry, Hamilton Center therapist at Metropolitan School District of Shakamak, won the Hamilton Center staff member award at an awards program in Terre Haute on Oct. 27. Wade, a third-grade teacher at Linton-Stockton Elementary School, was recently recognized by his peers as he was named Civitan's Teacher of the Year.
