Woman not seriously hurt after being struck by vehicle

A female pedestrian reportedly was bumped on the knee but escaped serious injury when she was hit by a slow-moving vehicle in the parking lot of WalMart on Thursday afternoon. The Bloomfield Police Department is keeping up with the times. It recently unveiled a newly re-designed and updated Web site and Town Marshal Ken Tharp has announced the BPD has started tweeting on Twitter.
