Wednesday, April 21 * There will be a Linton-Stockton High School junior class parents meeting at 6 p.m. in the high school media center to discuss the money that has been raised for grand march and post prom and to discuss upcoming fundraisers. Thursday, April 22 * In memory of the victims of sexual violence, and to promote awareness of sexual assault, special events sponsored by the Greene County Sexual Assault Task Force, Middle Way House in Greene County and the Greene County Prosecutor's Office will begin at 10 a.m. at the courthouse lawn in Bloomfield. Volunteers will be giving away live trees and awareness ribbons along with information. Women's advocates and representatives from the prosecutor's office will speak during a short ceremony at 2 p.m. when live butterflies will be released. The public is invited.
