Nolting wins Miss Greene County

SWITZ CITY -- The last time 2010's Miss Greene County Jennifer K. Nolting won a pageant, the questions were a lot easier. In 1998, she took home the Little Miss crown after answering a question about her favorite cartoons. Now 17, the White River Valley High School senior faced tougher questions Saturday, but mastered them, becoming the first Little Miss to win the crown in the contest's history. She'll take home a $500 scholarship, $200 in cash, a crystal vase, crown and sash, and an array of donated prizes for her victory. "It almost doesn't seem real yet," said the 4-H member and daughter of Ken and Debbie Nolting, who plans to study agriculture at Purdue University.
