Deputies with the Greene County Sheriff's Department and Reserve unit were busy late Wednesday night and into the early morning hours Thursday making arrests and rounding up stolen goods in what is being called a large-scale burglary case. Hundreds of items valued at thousands of dollars were recovered by authorities, who had been working on a series of residential burglary cases for a number of weeks, according to Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce. "This is an on-going case and we don't know where this is going to take us," Pierce said Thursday afternoon. "I'm sure this is not all from Greene County. We are sure there some cases with other agencies."
