UPDATED: Three vehicle wreck at railroad crossing in Dugger could have been much worse

A three-vehicle chain reaction wreck unfolded at the Indiana Rail Road Company crossing on State Road 54 near Dugger on Wednesday morning. It was nearly a very serious accident. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Department investigated the 7:45 a.m. mishap in which one person was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Jon Le Wilson, 74, of Springville passed away at 12:50 P.M. Tuesday November 23, 2010 at the Bloomington Hospital. Jon was born May 29, 1936 in Lawrence County, Indiana the son of Roy L and Clone (Sipes) Wilson. He went to work out of high school driving a truck for Crulo Trucking out of Avoca, then drove for Starnes Trucking also out of Avoca until he retired. Jon was an avid fisherman & loved watching NASCAR and his favorite driver Jeff Gordon. Surviving relatives include his wife Kathryn M. Wilson of Springville, two daughters; Debra Sehr (Dan) of Charlestown, Indiana and Pam Davis (Steve) of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren Bryan Sehr, Lauren Sehr Helton and Alec Davis; one cousin Marie Price of Koleen, Indiana.
