Mary Louise Merry

Mary Louise Merry, 68, of Lyons formerly of Sandborn, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Lyons Health and Living Center. Born December 21, 1941 in Linton, she was the daughter of Cecil Ray and Pearl Louise (Wright) Canady. She was a cook for the Lyons Health and Living Center and attended the Sandborn 1st Christian Church. Surviving relatives include: her children, Lisa King and David Foster both of Bloomfield and Kathy White of Switz City; eight grandchildren, Alicia Cliff, Caleb Inman, Autum Foster, Dalton Byers, Kaitlyn Byers, Heather Egnew, Jodi Worland and Morgan White; nine great, grandchildren; and one brother, Junior Canady of Loogootee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Merry on June 21, 2004, one daughter, Lori Canady, one sister, Sally Canady and her parents. A graveside service will be conducted at Sandborn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010, with Rev. Dean VanSlyke officiating. There will be no public visitation.
