Clinton "Clint" Wayne Alumbaugh, 31, of Dugger was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail late Monday by Cpl. Chad Crynes of the Linton Police Department after a woman reported Alumbaugh had pointed a gun at her. Alumbaugh was initially held on potential charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness but when he appears in Greene Superior Court for an initial hearing this week, he'll be charged with intimidation, a class D felony...

Gasoline prices highest in two years; many unsure of why the big hike

If you drive a motor vehicle, you have noticed that gasoline prices have taken a steep jump in the last two weeks. On Tuesday, the statewide average price of gasoline jumped another 3 cents a gallon -- bringing it to a two-year high of $3.08 a gallon for regular unleaded grade, according to the AAA Hoosier Motor Club. Locally, the prices were higher at some Greene County locations early Wednesday morning at $3.099 a gallon for regular unleaded. But by noon most stations had dropped to $3.059 a gallon.......
