New grocery store coming to Bloomfield

A new grocery store is coming to Bloomfield. Ruler Discount Foods -- a division of JayC Foods, Inc. -- is now in the process of renovating the old White's Regal Store on the east side of Bloomfield. No exact date has been set for the opening of the Bloomfield store, according to Steve Ferrell, director of advertising, but he did confirm the store is coming to town. He said the company is busy expanding throughout southern Indiana and he confirmed that a lease has been signed for the Bloomfield location.
