Child molester gets 40-year prison sentence

A Linton man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for single count of child molesting as part of a negotiated plea agreement this week. Danny L. Weaver, 63, of Camelot Court, in Linton, was sentenced Tuesday by Greene Circuit Court Judge Erik Allen to 40 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections with 10 years suspended. He was given credit for 152 days served in jail and will be placed on supervised probation for five years after his release...
