Four people were transported from the scene of a head-on crash by medical helicopter Monday afternoon on U.S. 231 near the Greene-Daviess County line. The scene is just south of the Interstate-69 construction site about 2,500 feet north of County Road 800N. The area is northwest of Crane Naval Support Activity (NSA) complex. Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce said details of the serious wreck are still unclear.
