An eastern Greene County woman was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing a cell phone that was left on the counter by a customer at a Linton-based Dollar General Store. Festival of Trees continues this coming weekend

UPATED: Commissioners revise holiday schedule for 2012

The Greene County Commissioners voted to mimic the state holiday schedule at its Monday morning meeting by eliminating two paid holidays for county workers starting in 2012. The two days eliminated were New Year's Eve (Dec. 31) and President's Day (Feb. 20).
