Siri "Charlie" Stocker, 73, of Linton, passed away 2:25 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Glenburn Home in Linton. He was born March 3, 1939, in Norfolk, S.D., to Lee and Martha (Kurle) Stocker. Charlie retired from Olive Garden in Indianapolis in 1995 and moved to Linton. He was as veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by one daughter, Charolette (Robert) Bresach, Linton; four grandchildren, Jason ( Laura) Stocker, Las Vegas, Nev., Jeff (Ashley) Allen, Lewis, Ind., Michelle Allen, Linton, and Chareese Gilbert, Califorina; nine great grandchildren, Dylan and Kaleb Stocker, Samantha Gilbert, Evan, Emma and Emberli Allen, Mckenzie Allen, Gavin Stocker, Collin Jozwiak, and special friend, Larry Allen, Linton. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristin Stocker; great grandson, Cory Piehl. Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 with Warren Shake officiating. Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 9 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
