Linton Public Library Director updates Chamber members

Second person arrested in connection with Newberry truck theft

A second person has been arrested in connection with a plot that resulted in the theft of a truck from the driveway of a Newberry residence in July 2011. Thomas Beauchman, 17, of Terre Haute, was arrested Tuesday by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant charging him with battery committed by means of a deadly weapon resulting in serious bodily injury; auto theft; resisting law enforcement; failure to stop after an accident resulting in injury; and knowingly and intentionally operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.. ...
