Mary Louise Reed, 92, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Glenburn Home in Linton. Born March 20, 1920 in Koleen, Ind., she was the daughter of Vernon L. Gardner and Mary Hazel (Crabbe) Gardner. She worked at RCA in Indianapolis and retired as a Production Control Clerk. She also worked for Freeland's Dress Shop in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Koleen Union Church, Koleen Ladies Aid, Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star and Rebecca's Lodge. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Ruth Brown of Bloomfield; a sister, Wilma Nell Durham of Bloomfield; her granddaughters, Terri Lynn Gayheart and Christy Ann Litnz, both of South Carolina; a grandson, David Litnz; her great grandchildren, Amber Snodgrass, Jason Gayheart, Joseph Lintz and Logan Lintz; her great great grandchildren, Tristan Snodgrass, Rylan Snodgrass and Jason Gayheart. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Orville Gillham on Aug. 16, 1979; her second husband, Ezra Reed on April 18, 2004; and two brothers, Wayne Gardner and Robert Gardner. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Lloyd Swango officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Ind.
