NEWLY UPDATED BREAKING NEWS: Three cooling shelter sites opened for heat wave relief Thursday and Friday

With record-breaking heat predicted Thursday (today) and Friday, three cooling shelters have opened in Greene County. "The soaring heat has become dangerous to people at risk," Greene County Emergency Management Agency Director Roger Axe said on Thursday morning in making the announcement. The three shelters are located in Jasonville, Bloomfield and Linton.
