I would like to mention the passing of a not only a great American Hero, but an international one also. Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, died Aug. 25 following coronary artery bypass surgery about three weeks ago. Armstrong was a frequent visitor to the Phil Harris event. His first visit to Linton was in 1982 and he returned several times after that, bringing his wife and children and flying into the Sullivan Airport in his "experimental" plane... -
