Peaceful, beautiful morning at state forest lake

A recent sunny morning provided for a picturesque scene at near the boat ramp at Greene-Sullivan State Forest's Reservoir 26. The forest features almost 9,000 acres of beautiful woodland and rolling hills dotted with more than 120 lakes. Most of the lakes are stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill and redear sunfish. The state record bluegill, weighing 3 pounds and 4 ounces was taken from Reservoir 26 in 1972.
