Gregory Lee (Peanut) Hughes, 59, of Lyons, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born April 7, 1953 near Marco, he was the son of James Dale and Mary Kathryn (Frederick) Hughes. He was employed at the Greene County Highway Department and attended Marco Methodist Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Linton, Sons of the American Legion in Worthington and was a precinct Committeeman for the Democratic party for years...

When David Lee Parker, Jr., 29, of Linton, was in Greene Superior Court Friday, he was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury, committed in the presence of a child under the age of 16, a class D felony.
