A familiar face will be working with the community at the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce. Cheryl Hamilton has returned to the position of executive director for the Chamber. Warrant issued for woman accused of stealing debit card from purse in doctor's office

A warrant was issued this week for the arrest of a woman accused of stealing a debit card in early June. Crystal D. Carter is wanted on a preliminary charge of class D felony theft. On June 6, a Linton police officer began an investigation into a report of a debit card stolen from an employee of a doctor's office in Linton. The card went missing while she was working on June 3 -- she noticed it because she looked for it in her purse so she could use it, but she was unable to locate the card...
